Think the prices will be RRP..
Meaning X1 is $499 and S2 is $199.

I never do that. Money very hard to earn.
Must demo demo demo, if really like it, then hoot.

Too poor to do leaps of faith.
Later leap liaoz land inside long kang, 头破血流.
Not worth it.

Lol...

I never hear the ie800. had the ba200 (sold off). if compare s2 and ba200, for me it's s2 any day.

ba200 may have more detail, however the bass and weight is not there. pretty thin and hollow. quite typical of lower end BA sound. s2 being a dynamic driver phones, tramples all over the ba200 in bass and weight/body, and that makes a whole lot of difference. music feels more like music instead of technical sound. there is emotion. it's not a bassy phones at all though. detail may be a bit lesser but still good. the mids has a bit of sparkle and may be abit peaky depending on the music. soundstage is big. overall it's a well tuned phones with a likeness to the sony ex1000 signature. the only potential drawback is the fit which can be a bit tricky.

comparing s2 to the x1, the x1 has much more bass, more recessed mids and darker. s2's bass I would say is probably tuned down proportionately to the x1's, in that I feel the main weight is on the lower bass range (machiam like subwoofer feel), with relatively lesser mid bass emphasis and it probably helped in not bleeding into the mids. x1 on the other hand is pushing the limit and depending on music, sometimes the bass does get a bit overwhelming.

I see. how are the details of s2 compared to the x1? Have you tried the fit of it when wearing over the ear? saw some pictures of people wearing it like that. The s2 has a microphone right, so does it work with computers with the normal audio jack (without mic function).

Just got my hands on an S2 from Stereo :) Having used smaller drivers in the past (ATH-CKM300iS, A-jays One+), the 13.5mm sized ones on the S2 seem huge by comparison and will take some getting used to. The impedance level (22ohm) is also higher than my previous earphones, so it needs a bit more power to drive

Means is 10% off + free speaker?

Yeah 10% off and free speaker. The speaker although is bluetooth, the cable they provide has a audio jack if you want to use it as a wired speaker too. There's a switch to control wired mode or bluetooth
