Btw some shop charge a fee to transfer data from old hp motherboard to your new one if the old one screen spoilt . $40 for android. Apple not sure .

I don't trust the shop with my data.
On my old Note4, I managed to desolder the flash chip and transfer to a microsd emmc board. After that I was able to access the data like in a thumbdrive.

Once data all copied out, formatted the chip and used it as a flash drive for mp3 in car.

300+ is for third party screen isit .. if only 100+ less than original it’s not worth it because it affects your resale value of the phone
I changed my iPhone screen $200+ third party in sg.. slight regret cos almost can’t sell phone Liao..
anyway I changed cos my screen totally can’t work and I didn’t back up phone .. else will just get a new phone straight

ya super not worth replacing screens unless it goes dead and you need the stuffs inside.
backup is one thing, nowadays all the important stuffs like bank apps etc also inside , always better to be ready to migrate phone rather than waiting for phone to uplorry suddenly
