Family room @ 87 sgd for 3 adults
48m2 with breakfast and bath tub...
Staying there during mid Mar

Apart from the beach, juncelyon mall, big c extra, some pasar malam, temple any idea where to go at phuket ?

Where is the pasar malam located at ?

In that case, maybe you want to consider joining the sightseeing tour around the city and also visit the Big Buddha which sits on top of a hill. You will have a panoramic view of Phuket there.

phuket is not a place for shopping. its more of a place for either RELAX or ACTIVITIES

There is a lot of bar and agogo bar for drinking.

The shopping sucks big time.

Either you go to kata beach and relax and see the angmo go topless or pay a guide for island hopping or raafting,atv etc. try not to go for elephant. they dont treat the elephant very well.

for island hopping atv and rafting i suggest mr mak. i dont know if he is still around but you can try googling here. his contact is somewhere in the forum

pasar malam? i think u refer to their phuket night market the main one. tell your guide. he will arrange for you to go, just book the transport.

If I only had a day in phuket (transfer), what can I do there? Assuming I arrived at 1pm, any nearby things to walk/see in patong itself? Night time I may visit agogo bar for drink, but day time seems to have a long blank amount of time.

para sailing on Patong Beach

This was taken on Patong Beach recently. It looks fun but I am wondering whether it is safe. Would you dare to do this para-sailing?

As for Patong beach, indeed there were so many ang-mohs. Looks like an ang-moh paradise, this Patong Beach.

junceylon shopping mall , only know that. then there is a bangla pasar malam if nt wrong . Hotels around juncelyon shopping mall is good, abt 40 to 50+ per night , 3-4 stars hotel. such as sira grande, tiger hotel , quite near to the mall .

I think if i remember correctly , at night beside or behind the mall there's a pasar malam neaby. selling some simple snacks and goodies.

as for tour i think you guys can find when you are in phuket.
There's lots of Tour desk & private driver. you can request for places you wanna visit and bargain price with the driver yourself.

FYI - when you arrange for tour , tour also find private driver who is available for the job to take up the job.

Been to phuket afew times. just sharing some experience.
