For those who are interested....

Wooohooo, I managed to enable my isf-day, isf-night and isf-auto on my KRP

(Using Kuro Control).... Currently using some reference setting from AVSForum.... PQ Not bad.... not bad at all.. Significant ?? Not really but do seem better.

Personally Reference Pure setting is still a bit too bright for me.... currently using isf-night for both day and night watching.

I used one of the ISF reference setting used by one of the avsforums forumer who engaged D-Nice (from AVSForums)to calibrate. True it is not real calibration as he did not do it physically. But it better then nothing..

Local Calibration do not seem possible as it seem that no one is doing it ... I check with pioneer and some of its authorised venders.

Not sure if any one try this

I have a KPR running for slightly less then 300 hrs.

I display a 0 IRE ( 0% stimulus (16,16,16) )Image from my PC and stream to Kuro (via My PC using PS3Media Server). I could see a dark gray glow.... not Inky BLACK which i am expecting.

I let the image sit for around 15 sec.
The image i used is from http://72.9.159.100/avs-vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=168986&d=1267742107

As for the room setup it is almost black with some lights from stars and nearby flats.....as i did the testing during the night..

Am i expecting too much?Or is my KPR flawed?

Settings:
Bluray Device: PS3
Input : Video RGB/Limited

AVR: Denon 1909
HDMI Input: RGB/ Normal (RGB16-235)
