Please don't look down on Newcastle United. They were the same as Man City. Nearly relegated the season before Sheikh takeover

I see a few things.
Just observed that he is getting on the nerves on the players with the few teams that he is managing.
No question about him being a tactician.
My question is on his people management skills.
Have an impression that he cannot change his old school and sour ways of running the place.
The young players may not like to work under the toxic working environment under him after a while.
And he is getting more and more grumpy when he lose.

Was thinking that Spurs would be a good place for him to find his ways.
Seems like he lost his way again when the players dun want to work with him any more.
Same for Roma now.

NU can give him the best players with him now.
I think he will fall out with them too after a while.
He is like some old man with menopause liao.

Quite a few have commented about his relationship with problematic players. But the ones he clashed with like Pogba and deli ali also caused problems for subsequent managers. Actually even during his Chelsea, inter and real Madrid era, he was also quite harsh to some players. Shevchenko, joe cole, quaresma and casilas comes to mind.

I think one thing that puts him in a disadvantage these days is the 25 man squad rule. That means he cannot cold storage a player like he used to. And he cannot have specialised players for specialised positions. Once injuries happens, the formation is decimated. You would notice his decline started around the time of the 25men squad rules.

Not sure if there has been clashes with players at roma but roma results has been quite erratic.

He is from the school of hard knocks.
If the squad have some senior players with his mindset, then it will work.
If not, the strawberry gen will be hurt by his abuse.
The new gen need a lot of emotional support.
And they are not so self driven like Ronny.
So, JM approach with his players may not gel any more.

Seems like Roma players are starting not to get along with their gaffer liao.
