Please don't look down on Newcastle United. They were the same as Man City. Nearly relegated the season before Sheikh takeover

He don't care
He's just after his next big payday
So Newcastle.and Everton isn't beyond him
Everton already been played out by Lotti and let down by Rafa.
Dun think they will get Jose unless they are siao.
Not sure about NU.
I think they will get Rafa if he want to take over at the end of the season.

Even though City lost one game 8-1, they were not close to fighting relegation in 07/08.

Moshiri running through as many managers as Abramovich and Pozzo family
If they got Lampard, means they're desperate.
So Mourinho isn't that impossible
And at that stage, maybe he's not asking for 10 million a season anymore

I think he have to make his mark with Roma first.
He seems to have lost his way or he is unable to manage or control the present generation of strawberry players.
I guess you already see him struggling at Spurs.
So, I am not so sure he want to waste his time to re-build NU from the bottom to the top 4.
They need some one else to do the dirty work.
Howe can do the job for the moment.
Poche can take over next season when he sacked from PSG.

Think Mourinho is still a top tier manager in the sense that he will win trophies given the opportunity. At spurs, they did top the league at some point before he was sacked in the week of the final of the league cup. Maybe he would have won the league cup maybe he would not have. We will never know because daniel levy is too cheapo to risk paying cup winning bonuses.

He was the successor that bobby robson wanted to have at Newcastle. But i think Benitez would be an option if eddie howe is sacked.

Their signings jn January is very shrewd. If they survive likely galaticos will be joining them for the next season.

Exciting times.

The problem is Ashley balanced the books during his ownership so they got alot of leeway to spend .

After this, if they spend 100 to 200 million they'll get hit by FA for FFP

I see a few things.
Just observed that he is getting on the nerves on the players with the few teams that he is managing.
No question about him being a tactician.
My question is on his people management skills.
Have an impression that he cannot change his old school and sour ways of running the place.
The young players may not like to work under the toxic working environment under him after a while.
And he is getting more and more grumpy when he lose.

Was thinking that Spurs would be a good place for him to find his ways.
Seems like he lost his way again when the players dun want to work with him any more.
Same for Roma now.

NU can give him the best players with him now.
I think he will fall out with them too after a while.
He is like some old man with menopause liao.

It is not about money.
It is about learning the lesson the hard way.
I think Everton need some one who can stick with them for a few seasons and build their team.
Their conditions are not as chaotic as Arsenal.
It will be a similar project like what David Moyes did with West Ham.

It would take a special manager to do this kind of sai kang re-building project.
It is the hardest job around.
Dun think Pep Pep want to do it without a big open cheque.
How many 50 million flop did he sign so far liao ?

They can spend up to 600m. Still not enough to challenge the top six though. Due to FFP, the process will take longer than in the past
