You create problem(s) if off S1 first follow by S2. {Time too short for discharge}
... delay
... M/B is NOT just in stand-by mode and NOT totally shut-down by Casing OFF power button since the PSU need some time to discharge. .. M/B cap(s) inside needs some time to discharge.
... Ba ba ba
{GOOD power supply will filter the noise, etc}

Better method: After casing power button shutdown, OFF S2 to 100% sure no power to computer and then OFF S1 monitor.

==========================================
currently my cpu connected to one switch "S2"
monitor to "S1"

after i have done with my work. i shutdown my pc. and when i switch off my monitor power from the wall socket instead of my "S2" cpu first. my PC start to boot up again.

instead i should have switch off my "S2" cpu first.

i assuming if there is any change of voltage, it will trigger to switch my PC while "S2" still on.

however, if my com have been switch off and power off for sometime, it wont trigger or auto boot up when i switch on my power. everthing is alright and fine

Hi!!!

i back with the problem happend again. the incident happen

1. i shutdown my computer after using, with "switch on"
2. i switch off any electronic appliance "light" , or kitchen boiler.
3. my computer start to boot up again!!!

Current Solution.
i go to bios. and disable "wake on lan" and set my "AC back" to memory.

everything work fine :)
then 2nd test with "AC back" to "always off"
it work fine too.

suspected it is the "wake on lan" cause the problem and by default is on.

any thought on tht???
