Can shortlist Poco M7 & Redmi 15, both uses LCD screen so no need to scare of green line/s appearing & use it with peace of mind.

All these green lines, phone lagging and battery draining fast after software updates are part of the planned obsolescence. If not how the phone company can continue to make profits after profits every year…

Last time things are more lasting as companies are not so profit driven yet & use the best quality materials to make the product.
So true..I used my mimax till XM stopped updating it

First time seeing 7000mAh battery, initial impression quite surprised and a little in disbelief
Wish there was e-sim support, but guess not
edit: Also no power adapter :(
China-only very common now

Globally Oppo group got quite a few models, in SG now i think only:
Realme GT7 and 7T, Oneplus Nord CE5 are also 7000mah

But equally as important is how well their OS battery is optimized, Oppo/OnePlus/Realme generally are very solid

8/256 - so it can be faster. If can use until 2031 without battery replacement etc...will be best deal ever for low-end budget phone. The screen is so big too. perfect for lao unker too vain to wear glasses.

tio pushed by @froztheart to buy it to use as my TW app/navi phone...waiting to receive.

This is the 8GB + 256GB version as most reviews were only on the 6GB + 128GB version with complaints that it lags.

So far, with a update (NOV 2025!!) and while the phone is still optimizing....pretty impressive for a phone that cost $138!

It really reminds me of the MiMax! 6.9" with the bezel not too wide. I set it to 144Hz display and it was smooth and fast. Google maps browsing was fast with satellite view.

Fingerprint and face unlock were instant. Heptic feedback was good too. Photos were meh...and videos 1080/30. Not for any serious photography or family/vacation memories.

Video playback was excellent. Dolby Atmos thru a mono speaker was bull crap!

Overall, this is a solid budget phablet. Definitely a buy for those looking for a big screen mobile with long updates.

Why PITA to put on, not just slot and snap in one meh?
cuz there's like a J "hook" design along the sides of the case; and its a pretty tough case that doesn't flex or stretch much..so one will keep trying to pull/stretch to get the case over the phone.

it is a good case, won't replace it until it is worn out. plus I got the black model..the artsy one feels like it will age badly.

Right, looks good to hold since I believe it's matte textured?
But why 1 photo black and the other photo grey ah. Is it Xiaomi with it's colour changing pattern for it's products again. :s13:

The $111 off $350 undoubtably great and probably some of the best shopping spreads of recent time

But also many great $150 phones this time 10.11 11.11 12.11

4G:
Samsung A07 - $102 (actually really good cpu and ufs storage for the price, long 6 years update)
Redmi Note 14 4G - $120 (very good entry smartphone with better than average camera, throw in free smart band too)
Poco M7 - $127 (not as feature packed as RN14 but can't go wrong if you want 7000mah battery)

5G
Redmi 15C 5G - $156 (Xiaomi's cheapest 5G phone iirc, good if you don't mind their OS, 6000mah and 8/256)
ZTE Nubia Neo 2 - $123 (Probably the best performing phone in the price tier, comes with shoulder trigger for gamers)
Samsung A06 5G - $127 (5G and Samsung lao zi hao branding)
Samsung A17 5G - $183* (A06 5G but with better 1080p amoled screen & update policy)
Sharp Wish 5 - $136 (Esim for this cheap, clean stock like OS)

Poco M7 Pro 5G - $166 (saw it briefly but seem to be oos very quickly,1080p amoled, dual speaker, very slight better cpu, better cameras)

From my price sniping if still in stock blackfriday/cybermonday/12.12 might still repeat these prices since it's not abusing the generational $111 off $350 voucher(which probably will never ever come back lol)

These prices are only using regular ~$20 shopee platform voucher and occasionally with some help with individual store vouchers
