i believe having a case with a lip for the camera is enough, dont want to end up degrading camera quality, but to each hiis own.

you add one more layer of glass of unknown quality, maybe will degrade, am not saying for certain but this is just in my opinion.

every layer between the sensor and the subject will degrade the pic quality.
most impacted is the optics.

a piece of few-dollar plastic over the lens will also be in the way of best image capture.
Qn is whether or not this "filter"'s impact is perceivable or not, and if it "affects" user experience/expectation

exactly, scientifically and factually, there will definitely be a degradation. just a matter of user perception.

Liquid silicone material. It is not as sticky as normal silicone and won’t attract dust. The cons will leave a mark if you have oily finger, have to wipe it after that.
