I guess is pre order on the 8-12 SEP. Then you will only receive it mid September.

Recently all phone launch date drop on the mid September.. rog3/fold 2 and now this x3

Guess I still have time to play with pixel 4a while waiting for them to drop haha

Walao really feels bad man. I bought a RN9 Pro a few weeks ago for 344 after using all the available vouchers back then on top of flash sale. I've missed stereo speakers since my first HTC Desire 816 with Boomsound. Now X3 comes out at lower price with stereo speakers and slightly better battery, chipset, cam and display. Too late to regret lol

Between the Note 9 Pro and Poco X3, it really is a no brainer indeed.

I see the Singapore price for the Poco X3 is $349 for the early bird deal on the official store (along with some irrelevant freebie).

The same official store is selling the Note 9 pro at $399. That is $50 more for
an older phone with (I think) poorer specs?

Sell off and buy X3 lo, the loss take it as you bought X3 without early bird discount.

Nevermind la. Use your note 9 pro for one year. Next year buy X4. You can then laugh at people using X3.

What is a good estimate of when will the peripherals for the Poco x3 be out you all reckon? i.e. casing, screen protector etc.

I was seriously considering. But seeing that the specs are so similar, it's not worth the loss, unlike the RTX 2080Ti & 3070 burn. :( I'll just use for the next 4-5 years until 5G becomes widespread then I jump to a 5G phone in the future.

I hope nobody jumped and bought without any discounts while RN9P was offered at $399. That'd really suck. A consolation that I bought with quite a lot of discount off listed price, and came with free (decent) TWS earbuds.

It seems like reviews are saying the MIUI lag is a con because their adaptive refresh rate seems to be all over the place.

it's a really attractive phone for not alot of money. I was pretty sure I'd be getting a pixel 4a, but other than the pixel camera, the poco x3 specs really tick all the boxes for me

The aim is to save battery. They did mention the refresh rate will change according to your usage . Tbh miui12 itself is quite heavy . I believe we will feel shuttle and lag in between transition.

Then again with the price and spec really can complain much

At this price I don't think there is anything else that compares tbh.
