The upgrade is:

No more notch + bigger screen
Newer processor
Bigger battery
NFC
IR remote function
Better camera
3.5mm jack move to the bottom

The thing I miss for F1 is:

Lighter weight, smaller form factor
Face unlock technology similar to iPhone that work in the dark.


Conclusion, it is a good upgrade coming from F1.

Bigger battery normally means larger form factor and/or heavier phone. Normal tradeoff.

i tried installing it using shizuku and SAI, as i want to try avoiding disabling MIUI optimizations.

worked perfectly.

previously disabling MIUI optimizations caused some permissions issues.
got fed up and did a factory reset

Disable MIUI optimization will reset permissions for apps. Not so bad if you installed Vanced on a fresh phone.
I had to factory reset because 16.5GB went missing, was trying to hide my music folder pictures with .nomedia and then the whole folder MIA, can't find or delete.

The supplied phone casing is good... But it doesn't "protect" the camera bump though. When I put phone facing up on table, the phone rests on the camera bump .

if you put any pocket socket or phone ring it will not even be an issue

Normally 3 pin need apply safety mark.

Check your cable if it's loose, it will happen, so double check the connection point for usb

Hi all... This is my 1st Xiaomi and after 2 days of using it, I am quite impressed. Yes there are many issues (able to solve most with Google) but for this price, I am happy.

One thing that I am still unable to get round is Google Pay. I can't get pass the 'Verify your number' even with the right OTP keyed in and hv this 'can't verify number right now'.

Anyone have this issue and manage to get it work?Any tips?
