Wat? Your order already shipped when mine ordered 2 days ago still stuck at shipping requested? How the fudge is that fair when i ordered earlier and paid at a higher price? So i went and cancelled and then ordered from another china seller at even cheaper price

Even that official xiaomi store on shopee also say claim warranty through imei. So the issue was never with these oversea sellers and their stock to begin with. The problem is with our local service center acting blur unless you go bang table make noise and get them to wake up their idea. End of the day, want to agonize over warranty for a $300 phone then better don't buy or pay a premium for local stock with EIN sticker.

I think some sellers are selling "local" or SG set which is shipped from HK, because I bought a redmi note 8 pro from seller "mimistore" on Feb 20 and it was still a "preferred" seller which claimed to have local warranty, and when I received the phone, I checked the delivery address using IMEI and it is indeed "Singapore" and a physical receipt was included. Now the shop name is changed to "POCO Official Global Store" and under Shopee Mall.

If you're worried about the warranty claim, best is to get from official seller on Shopee and don't take the risk by ordering from Qoo10.
