Anyone using 5G with this phone? How's the performance and which telco you're using?

I'm on M1 thinking whether should sign up 5Go Plus booster. Besides that, does VoNR works? I managed to bring up the VoNR menu option in the mobile network setting by using this MIUI Dialer code *#*#8667#*#* this code will show the VoNR menu.

Really curious how's the experience be like and whether VoNR works on which network.

That's why want ask ask first. Can't find much clear info. See 5G coverage map actually getting quite ok.
4g speed is more than enough for surfing liao
When use phone to surf net, it will load mobile page instead of the usual desktop page
Mobile page use lesser resource, its like lite mode so lesser things to load

Unless u always download prawn
Otherwise use 5g also waste money lor
Wait for telco to take down 3g and fully implement 5g then sign up ba
Its not practical to get it now IMO

not sure what 5g bands sg is even deploying. its next to impossible to find any details.
poco f3 is only missing 2 bands that s21u has, n66 and n40. so its likely a software limitation. maybe a brand deal with samsung.
mi11 lite 5g supports the same bands as s21 u and isnt listed either.
the iphone 12s support even more bands than s21u and isnt "capable" of their SA 5g lol.

there wasn't any apn settings... it will only appear when you are on certain locations where there is 5G.

Yes i understand on that. I am on 5G plan and Poco F3 have not even once shown connected to 5G even at various location tested.

My 4G/4G+ on this phone works unstable compare to previous Mi Mix 3. Keeps dropping to H+ at various times.

Why is this so ?

M1 is using Band 78 (3.5Ghz). It is mentioned in their news release.

checked in CBD and Orchard Rd? I guess these 2 places confirmed got 5G. Neighbourhoods will be hit and miss for now.

Try putting your network selection manually to Starhub. Otherwise, it might be your antenna issue as so far the 4G/4G+ connection is stable.

The strongest so far is at CBD area.

cool manual selection works better indeed. 4G+ more stable now.

does 5G require new SIM card to support it ? I found out that mine is the cut out version from Micro Sim era...
