So far just to share the settings I have turned on:
1) Password and Security-> Screen Lock-> Fingerprint unlock
2) Notification Effect-> Pulse
3) Connection and Sharing -> Private DNS-> entered with cloudflare DNS.
4) Do not disturb mode
5) Settings > Display > Refresh Rate and select the ‘High’ option.
6) Raise to Wake, for me to see the lock screen notification.

Hi guys.

Going to be in the Poco F3 bandwagon by this week. Coming from OnePlus 7Pro user. Got the Blue version 8GB/256GB.

Understand that this phone is almost a year old. But I presume all the initial issues are ironed out through the software updates.

Any other problems that are still lingering that I should be aware of? Not sure if the improvements from OnePlus 7 Pro will be worthwhile.

Solid phone in terms of specs. Dont think have much phone with SD chipset and 120hz amoled display at this price point.

Only downside I would say is the camera not top notch but good enough for regular photo.

I used to place a lot of emphasis on camera but maybe I old liao I don't take as much photos nowadays as before. And all my phones I will just install GCam to get the best out of the camera instead of stock camera app.

Realise that I need fast performance for smooth operation of apps instead of good camera.

Speed wise this is probably the fastest mid-range phone. camera wise, it is quite ok if using gcam. i can take pretty decent photos with it's front and back cameras.

the battery life is also pretty decent. overnight drain is less than 1% per hour in deep sleep mode.

As long as camera not worse than OnePlus 7 Pro standard should be fine for me. Since that phone is from 2019.

battery life seems good. I always tend to only charge my phones every 3-4 days.

Can I ask.. if I do a full reformat and reboot of my redmi note 9s, will it delete my sync contacts in my Google drive also? I scared it might delete all my contacts once I reboot

As long as it is synced to your Google account, it will not be lost. It will be restored in your new phone.

It's good to reset the phone once in a blue moon. Just make sure to use Google backup before resetting the phone. Google backup nowadays are pretty good on backing up and restoring your phone's settings.
