There no proximity sensor in the F3, only a 'virtual' sensor made using the use of other sensors.

Someone should add a ignore virtual proximity sensor switch and have it behave like those phones without a sensor.

If someone uses the phone to make phonecalls they definitely will notice it more. But most people whom use this phone is for gaming and it is value for money

I make occasional calls and it is no problem for me. Most of the time the screen is off when it is near my ear. So no unintentional touches to the screen.

I bought it for my dad and he's using to make phone calls all day long and WhatsApp audio is also working fine for him (stock MIUI).

I'm keeping a close look because he's just a basic user and it'll be good if it's seamless for his usage (which is working well for him).

The only thing I did was patch the phone to the latest update so I'm wondering if that was what made everything work out of the box.

Ok. I will try it again.

My A52s kept triggering it before my f3 can scan even though f3 is literally on the sensor.

Some of those readers not compatible with some phones, no internet also means can not check in using QR, so I just use token.

Same. Token is still the best 100% each and every time can go in.

Not like those ppl that jam up the gantries while fiddling with their phones and cause a long q behind who are the worst.

I thought I was the only person in SG that still uses the physical token despite having a Poco F3 smartphone because I totally dislike the app draining battery and permanent notification when trying to disable it.

i put a bluetooth widget beside the TT widget. just enable when needed

TT app draining battery? Not on my phone leh... I also always carry the token with me, but most of the time I use the TT app to go in by scanning the QR code.

An app which is always running in the background and is always listening for handshakes with other Bluetooth clients will definitely consume battery.

it may consume a little, it may consume more. But unless you can do an exact day to day comparism down to the wire in a controlled environment with all other factors equal, you will never know how much more standby time you may get out of your phone.

So obviously a phone without running background apps will last longer than one which has a constantly running one. It could be 5 mins more? 50 mins more? Who knows.

That’s why i still use the token till this day. A background app uses up the phones resources as well, both storage and RAM no matter how little

what did u use then? the iphones before 13, especially before iphone 11, had garbage battery life.
samsungs also had garbage battery life because of the old exynos

Last time I use mainly iphones and Samsung note series. My iphone 7 plus is still working and being used by a family member now. I'm still using my note 8 for Samsung pay.

I keep my phones in very good conditions.
