Looks quite OG

I'm looking at the glue they sell but I see only Black colour I supposed is the T7000. How did you get T8000 ya?

https://shopee.sg/T-8000-T-7000-B70...46&xptdk=e3f280d3-f202-4c31-8978-ef3bdfcec346

+ T8000 : The glue is transparent colour

+ B7000 : The glue is transparent colour

+ T7000 : The glue is black colour

i saw T8000 15ml for < $1 ( https://s.shopee.sg/6fPIs6aBcz can get free too with voucher )
i googled and read that they are the same just transparent vs black, or more specifically uses for touchscreen vs multipurpose

https://www.iparts-4u.co.uk/zhanlid...n question is, what, the title of each product

some weeks back i used one of these type of glue with metal nozzle .... e6000 but kept 2 year in storage not so fresh .... glued a book together
very hard to squeeze out by finger strength since it's gummy through the small nozzle ..... 2 minute work time before it start to cure , 24 hours

to maneuver a rectangle around something delicate like phone within 2 minutes .... the glue gel need to be runny like toothpaste

my previous battery swap didn't came with the pull-remove sticker ..... i used household double sided tape ........ when doing second battery swap it was nasty to remove by sliding a plastic ruler in , ruined the ruler as the tape gum transferred over

Have you done the surgery on your phone yet?

I pulled the trigger and ordered BM53 from the same shopee seller yesterday. Let me try out that 5000mAh BM53 for you guys but I'm going out of town likely can only do the replacement after the trip. Ordered zhanlida T-8000 at slight premium instead of the Shopee Choice link, shipped from Malaysia too.

Now my missing piece is the thin plastic card to get into the back cover. Trying to see what I have on hand to get that done instead of ordering it from Shopee hahahaha

If its decent with a good price, hootz! 🤭
The new f7 series come with ultra and pro versions.

I like camera upgrades but I scare if they inherit samsung screen issues since parts could be from the same supplier.

Not sure if the other xiaomi lines have screen issues or not. :o

Well, "touch wood", haven't gotten any screen issues up till now.
Getting the infamous green lines is the worst that I hope not to face.

Update, I've just done the battery replacement today with BM53 battery (5000mAh) instead of BM4Y (4520mAh). Size wise it fits, just the "bend" on the battery ribbon/connector need to bend it slightly more towards the right to match Poco F3's position. Backcover went back on OK. Have yet to apply T8000 glue just put the cover back on with residual glue on the cover at the moment. *lazy to clean the glue + wanted to just try it out first.

Tested on charger, and confirmed the issue with Quick Charging/Turbo Charge. Without doing anything to the daughterboard, it is actually "triggering" quick/turbo charge when plugged in but that's about it. It's charging at under 10W not the usual 25~33W. Guess really need to MOD the daughterboard if want to get back turbo charging. But this is my second phone I guess will just play with it like this at the moment see try out the battery life while still keeping the old battery. Just need to give it a bit more time to charge haha.

Reporting back on my BM53 5000mAh battery replacement. After using it for almost 20 days now, Accubattery is reporting the battery capacity at 4500mAh but I didn't let the battery go low enough to do full charge cycle not sure how accurate it is. Battery life at least doubled compared to my 3 year old original BM4Y battery. Xiaomi Turbo Charge can trigger but it's still charging at just +- 10W. Got used to it though as this is my spare phone so it's ok to put it on charger for longer. Yet to seal back the backcover with the T8000 glue I bought but so far so good inside a case. BM53 should be compatible just need to bend the connection ribbon a bit to match Poco F3's battery connector's position.

BM4Y no need I guess? But I can't guarantee ahhhh. I have seen mixed review/feedback some said no need some said need some said those OEM won't turbo charge some will.

Forgotten to update abt this as i managed to sold my F3 :ROFLMAO:
but yes my BM4Y battery replacement able to qc3.0 @ ~20W+ (9A 2V +)
Didnt try the 33W proprietary turbocharge thou as im using multiport charger instead of the original charger
