Then go to Settings, About Phone, MIUI 12 Logo > Click on the 12 icon till u see additional features turned on

Top right corner 3 dot and select choose udpate package, and select the update file downloaded

if 1:1 3:4 9:16 cam will be on horizontal black border thus no difference

They distribute from china but local have warranty
Just need to take note on which shop, many xiaomi shops there

Updating now. Just wanted to add on to the tip of it is useful - when I clicked choose update package, it allowed me to choose from WhatsApp and Instagram only, I couldn't go to Files or Download. I had to download Xiaomi File Manager from the play store then it allowed me to choose the package in Xiaomi File Manager.
