for those who cant find "turn on miui optimization", just go into developer options and tap on "reset to default values" several times.

Reset to default values is greyed out for me. Anyone else have this problem?

Updated MIUI after received the phone from Shopee on Sat. Setup and start using. Noticed double tap to off screen dun work for me. I can double tap to wake phone but unable to do so for off screen. End up using the lock screen widget.

You have to use Xiaomi CLASSIC theme in order to use the double tap...Check THEME...

Maybe there a bug in the system. I also cannot double tap to lock my screen on this Poco X3 Pro phone but it work normal for my Poco M3. Maybe need a firmware update to fix the problem

Yes i'm on Classic since Day 1, double tap to lock doesn't work, only double tap to wake works...

It works if you are using poco launcher. You need to enable it inside the launcher setting.

Anyone have issue say trying to share external from FB to telegram? No error but nothing comes out. Same for exporting pdf from parking.sg to telegram.

double tap to lock is a setting in poco launcher, you wont find it in miui settings

gonna try this. For parking.sg i tried export to even gmail but they said "unsupported attachment". Previously didnt have this issue with my huawei phone..

Thks for the forum, now can double tap to wake or lock screen. Need to pinch at Home Screen, goto settings>more>enable double tap.

Pretty frustrated how I cannot share files from one app to another + i cannot seemed to get the disable miui optimization to appear even after tapping the reset to default values multiple time. Phone is on MIUI 12.0.4.

Hi guys, already in POCO Launcher since Day 1, anyway Double tap to wake or turn off screen is found in: Settings-Lock screen

that's only for lock screen, locking from home page is a setting in poco launcher.
