Guys I'm thinking of upgrading from my Mi 9. Should I get a S10 Plus or Poco X3 Pro? I'm looking for a phone with regular software updates.

S10 plus if u are particular about Night shoot phots. I was using a S10 plus and changed to Poco X3 Pro, the Night photos are not good. Now I side loan GCam for Night Shoot on Poco X3 Pro. But cannot compare a $300 phone with a $1K phone.

Why S10 Plus? None of these phone does have regular s/w update.

if you want regular s/w update and good camera - google pixel 4a. if budget allows - google pixel 4a 5g [ export ].

s10+ reaching eol soon. most 300$ phones dont really have good software updates. might as well prioritise the spec you need the most and choose from there

Anybody find the notification sound softer when compared to other Redmi phones? I set the notification sound to the same volume level on my Poco X3 Pro and Redmi Note 8 , and the notification sound is louder on Redmi Note 8.

I cannot answer my calls on my Tic Watch Pro now with this X3 Pro. I used to be able to press answer on the watch and have a conversation from the watch with my old Huawei 5T, but with the X3 Pro, I can only press answer and but cannot talk via the watch.

Anyone has similar problem? Any solution?

Sorry all, my boo boo.... Just went though the watch and see there is a play phone call on watch setting, I didn't check that. Case closed.

Yup just wake up in the morning charge can Liao but must take note of the led light because this phone charge fast once the led light turn off have it immediately unplugged your phone to prevent overcharging. This Poco X3 Pro take 50 minutes plus to charge from 0-100% while the other phone I used it the past from 80-100% take 50 minutes plus to 70 minutes plus, that a huge difference.

to prevent overcharging/overheating, just use a power plug timer and set to maybe 60-70 minutes. cost as low as $10 for analog timers from hardware shops.

yeh not bad, cheapest was around 250 on launch day iirc, but dont know if that kind of discount will come back

well. have to temper your expectations a bit, this is a cheap phone and you are 1 of the first batches in the world to use it, so there's bound to be bugs.

Same here, so far this phone is rly value for $$$ not even bothered by the LCD screen. The speed is sufficient for CODM gaming and my daily usage.

I see the used price of Poco X3 Pro at $250, so tempting. They could have put at least a 64Mpixel camera mah.
