Can anybody advice me? I am interested in signing on Direct-entry inspector. However, I am afraid that it will delay my plan in starting up my own family. Not too sure if they will allow us to plan for children almost immediately after we get our placement

Btw I am 25 and a female.

you can't be pregnant when you're inside tracom for the 9months of training, I know of people who got married in the midst of their training. theres like this posting cycle that inspectors have to go through

Btw I am 25 and a female.

The application process for Direct Entry Inspector usually takes 6mths to 1 year. If you are successful, you will undergo roughly 9 months of stay-in training at HTA. The training can be quite physically challenging and of course there will be shooting, so getting pregnant during training is not a good idea.

After your 9mths training, you will be attached to an NPC for 6 months to learn how it is like on the ground before your next posting which is approximately 2 - 3 years in Investigation. (this would be the time getting pregnant is fine)

Is there psychometric test too? cause recently i went for cmpb checkup did a test and if spf has psychometric test will i need to do it again and do i need to go for medical again?

I told them to email cos I time to time may not be in sg so call may not pickup.

But timeline is about like this
Late December interview
10 Jan 2019 schedule medical.
Early and mid Feb went for medical. Went twice due to blood collection the nurse took one less tube.
Waited till 3 April to tell me I'm accepted
8may sign
14may enlist

From what i know usually ppl after two weeks or a month receive either rejection email or medical email if pass interview, for your case I’m GUESSING is they are giving u another chance at the interview so do ur best.

I see. Actually thats what i guessing too. And might it be they can check until i apply for ica n sg custom as I received both emails for medical check up alrdy? So maybe they want to double cfm i really want to get into spf a not?

Yes you will have to do everything again

Anyone applied for the application period from Jan to March 2019 and got in the Jun/Jul intake? Able to confirm total of 3 stgs?

Anyone has completed panel interview (stg 2)? Can give some advice as well as on the personality test?
