Does anybody actually know what’s the rough % of people who actually make it to rd3 for DEI?

And what’s SPF’s stand on BMI? My current BMI is 32, but I have no issues with getting Guards gold (>90) for IPPT
SPF will know the %

Flustered when he asked me why I want to join spf as a DEI then after my reasons.

He went... What if I offer you a sgt post now. Will you accept.

Then I just stunned lol
I said no LOL 😂 think I just shoot myself

I second what Pikachu said because I tried applying for DES but got automatically rejected due to my certification

It was perhaps a test to see if you are truly interested but I can't say for sure

I heard from the recruitment officer before you can't apply two position in SPF. They will reject one of it.

Previously I applied PTU and DES and they rejected my DES because of this reason.

I applied DES first and got rejected before I tried for DEI
Recruitment officer said if you have degree you are ineligible for DES only DEI

Not sure how true it is now.

Although the interview is over, one thing to improve the reply of no would be to explain why you would decline a sergeant rank.

Perhaps saying that you are personally convicted that you can contribute more to SPF as a DEI than a DES/ You have a degree, you can't be a DES (showing your knowledge of their recruitment process)

My perspective is the interviewer's job is to ask questions that really stun you/ fumble your train of thought. And your task is to respond the best you can (not give politically correct answers) to convince them you can think under pressure/rational train of thought.

But don't stress, it's over :)

I registered for DEI and I received an email 3 days ago saying that I have been shortlisted for tea session with assistant director of manpower.

Normally how long is it before they let you know when this is happening?

Is there anything I need to bring or prepare for the tea session because right now we are in between covid19 phase 2 and relaxation of some rules in phase 2.

I see. Thank you. I noticed that the tea session questions are mostly towards leadership as well as current affairs and the passion for the job. Are there any curve balls I should take note of? Does previous ns experience count as leadership?

Haiz. Donno how they select. Maybe my CNB psychometric test did badly and linked to SPF recruitment? Cuz i heard from CNB recruitment say if did SPF Psychometric, no need to do certain parts for CNB.

Could be either psychometric fail (which will affect since it is the same one) or tea session they just see you are not suited for the role due to lack of passion lor

can retry in 6 months if you really keen
