Hi peeps, just spoken to the recruitment officer. According to him, training has been postponed to early Oct 2016. Outcome of our application may be available next week (i.e. Further waiting).

hi guys i actually applied during july and completed my 2nd round of interview on 24 august 2016, yet to attend medical and enlisting to tekong on 4th october just wondering if anyone knows whether i'll be able to rush and complete signing with spf before that date or if its after, will i be able to go to spf only after completing my 2 years of NS? and has anyone received any results yet??

have you informed the recruitment officer that you enlisting on 4th oct? if i'm not wrong, let's say you get accepted into spf, they will disrupt your NS.

2 months after my Selection Assessment on the 1st of July my Application came up as unsuccessful. Pretty much discouraged as I was hoping to get thru before I have to be enlisted to my 4 weeks BRT in scdf.

Anyone knows the rough gauge to re-apply? And where did I went wrong? Personally, I think the interview went well with the panels, talk about family status, there is no bad police record or whatsoever?

Hi! I dont think it will affect your chances if you're a smoker ( couple of my friends are smokers and they got through)

Questions i remember are
1) tell me more about yourself and ur family
2) why do u want to join spf
3) what qualities do u think a leader should have

and some other questions that i dont really remember
i took about 30mins for the first interview whereas the second interview was just 10-15mins

Second interview for me was about the same questions as the first

well a tip i have is to familiarize yourself with SPF ( core values , motto etc)
work shift , MTE scheme ( if pre-enlistee) etc etc.

if i'm not wrong it's takes roughly a year to re-apply. And no one will ever know why they got rejected
