Hi guys, I'm new here. I applied for JPO back in August.
Went for SA (no interview) on 9th sept and went back for interview on 23rd sept, still waiting to hear from them. Anyone went for SA/interview around that period and heard from them already?

Damn sick of generating $$ for foreign investors, wanna do something more meaningful. Constant pay raise, job security diverse is what I'm looking for.

Same feeling as u. I take it u also in the banking and finance industry. But this means most likely u are going to take a pay cut for this switch? Your family and partner support your decision?

Hello there! Erm SA basically consist of things like verification of documents, physical assessment, english proficiency test and psychometric test. Interview wise from what I know some had their interview on the very same day as their SA so don't, like myself.

I guess interview questions would be the usual like intro, talk about family, why would you like to join and stuffs like that.

If I did remember correctly they'll ask everyone to declare if they have any tattoo, when did they put it and what is the meaning behind it. I think... you don't have to worry too much? :)

Hopefully, I will be very honest with them. My tattoo was purely no related to gang, but at wrist area is a big concern if I want to join them although I am doing laser removing.. so hows your application goes?

From what I know if you get shortlisted and pass the interview and medical, recruitment would ask you to go for interview at cantonment regarding your tattoos. But all the tattoos are covered unlike yours which is not covered..

Hi thanks for the reply, but mine is covered by my watch nicely. And that I am doing removal treatment. Would that be taken into consideration by them?

Congrats to you, I guess having medical appointment means you're almost in already. And yes, I need a few more sessions to get it remove totally. Hope they will consider me as my tattoo is covered nicely by my watch and it's hardly to be seen plus my removal treatment.
