Hi thanks for the reply, but mine is covered by my watch nicely. And that I am doing removal treatment. Would that be taken into consideration by them?

Frankly I've not seen any of my colleagues with tattoos on their wrists.😅..i hope you'll get through cos during the assessment they would ask to strip to the shorts and must remove watch as well..Maybe if you're applying for SOC it doesn't matter cos they would be in NO 4?

You're a PO? Good to hear opinion from you. I hope I'll get through as well bcos if I were to graduate from HTA, I would have completely have my tattoo remove. Does transcom officer also wear No.4? I'm very serious about this career path but I am worried that they won't consider me even though I am making a effort to remove. 😞

Yes, transcom officers also wear No. 4. But I don't really know if they will actually consider you since you have a visible tattoo. But never try never know so good luck!

Looks like you may need to convince the ones who are interviewing you..well the application period will take months to process so who knows by then you would have finished your laser treatment..👍🏾..

Thank you.. yes I really need to convince them, I even got a referral letter from the place I did my laser treatment to show them. Want to show them the sincerity from a 31yrs old mid career switch guy. 😌

Thank you for all your replies.. truly appreciate it. I'm going on 7th Nov to be very honest with them, won't even choose to lie or hide. I think it's a integrity thingy a person should have. 🙏🏻

Without a tattoo I am confident. But with a tattoo, I felt worried. Whether how I convince they are with my truth and the lasering effort would be another worry. But nontheless, I'll still walk in to do my best and hopefully I'll be able to share the good and hope not the bad news here with everyone!

Does any one know from the time we submit application to getting officially offered the role, how long is the whole process?

from what i've read, the length of time for every application varies. some few months and I read abt one case which took almost a year from date of application to confirmation call.

they will have to assess the tattoo - whether it's gang related or not and acceptance is on a case by case basis. not a sure negative though so just try anyway.

From what I noticed, the ones who applied for the 5 year mte(without NS)is faster compared to those who applied after finishing NS. Even faster if you're a female!!

You'll be posted to NPC after passing out so automatically your working hours would be long..since you would be on shifts, expect to work on weekends as well..
