Mine was 9.30am.

I was in the room since 9.15am and I ended up waiting till 9.50am for my interview. I recorded myself as well as timed myself. Total about 18 mins long.

They asked me several questions during the prepared question. The part he felt I didnt do so well was that I couldn't narrate (to his liking) about what to expect during my service. Like frontline patrol for 6 months. Then you become investigation officer for a year or so. Then lead investigation officer. I did narrate what I saw on site. But the durations I didn’t quote because I really didn’t know. Rather than smoke bomb. He asked me is 9 months residential training is alright. I did Ns before. So I said ok for me.

He asked me why I selected a certain experience as a leader.
Current affairs question he asked me now that we are entering phase 3, what do you think of it?

He did say results will let known to me in 2 weeks time, he added a see you soon. Which I hope is a Freudian slip.

He asked me instead if I have any questions for them, which I probed, if for some reason I do not proceed to next round, what do I need to improve? He said make good friends with your peer in the force and ask about his role as an inspector. I am not sure what to think of that comment. He went on to said my answers were well thought out and good. I wasn’t the worst and it was fine.

This seems promising. His reply are quite positive. You did fine! Now to wait. Be positive and don't worry too much

I agree with you on this. His reply seem positive. I also had similar comment on when I wasn't able to articulate out the postings and what's gonna happen aft the 9 months residential training. In gist, he told me to speak to friends in the force to find out more. He wanted me to be sure that I know what I'm signing up for.

Side note, received email today that I'm moving on to the next round (i.e psychometric and essay)

If the tea sesh was conducted by the same dac then from what I read it seems like a positive sign

Yes you should tell ur commanders when u enlist.

Check with spf whether you can go in your army uniform.

I don’t think u will be allowed to book out in other clothes.

Spf knows u enlisting 3rd?

Hiya, I have an upcoming SA next tues. What should I expect for it? I assume there's the psychometry test. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Strange right? I did quote the positions listed on the website. But he wants the duration. He expected that I know exactly what to expect, Which is fair. But what if I have no friends in the force? Strange but a reasonable expectation I Guess.

Btw second interview for DES how ah? Ask what ?
During the first interview was like why you wan be police, challenges u think u will face, how cope with stress/ disagreement, how u think u can improve as an individual.

Will ask current affair all this? Or is it only for DEI

Just my thoughts as well - if no friends in the force, might be a challenge to answer. Then again, it could just be to test if you've done enough research on the role or you're just applying for the sake of applying haha
