Yes you have to wait for 6 months. So for me it is 2 years in the making.

Wah like your determination! I'm not sure when I can apply again if rejected this time because I'll be in the army already, so dk halfway jump can anot. If cannot my plan is to apply 1 more time after my NS then if fail I will apply vsc first and do for 1 or 2 year before applying again

Hi guys, like to seek some advice from people here. My friend went for medical check up last week and yesterday he received a sms from Shenton that a memo will be sent to his home for own follow up, does that mean he probably failed his medical? I understand most of the time they wouldn’t send an memo to the applicant regardless if it’s a successful or fail medical results

Just for own observation.
Means Nth.
I also received one, saying my cholesterol level is 5:2
Google search say is normal

Any particular concern that you have?
I went for ns Checkup this year many times and initially they test I got high Blood pressure and fast heart rate. but because I actually feeling nervous whenever I go for a test which leads to me have a fast heart rate. After a few test and they even ask me to go to the national heart centre to do 24h ecg test, they concluded that I'm normal and give me pes B1. So now I'm worried they will ask me to another blood bp test, then I will be nervous again.

Hi bro i can't reply to PM yet. But you don't have to worry. I did x-ray twice so any memo or retest is pretty normal. As long as you are healthy enough nothing to worry.

turns out im enlisting in the Army in Feb 2021. if DES doesn’t work out there goes my next 2 years down the drain :’) anyway my Medical is tmr which means there should be enough time from now until enlistment (feb 2021) for the results right?

So you are saying those people who enlist into Army their 2 years is also down the drain?

Enough time or not, cannot confirm as others here say their wait also quite sometime. But can confirm that there is still time. Cause your enlistment is a few months away.

My friend waited 8 months and there’s someone in this thread that waited 10 months. Honestly speaking u shouldn’t get ur hopes too high or have high expectations cos it’ll just lead to disappointment. Like get the mentality of getting the results early out so u wont be disappointed if it doesnt come as soon as u expect.

Hi all. Decided to upload my timeline for DEI as well!

applied: early July
Invitation email for tea session: 21st july
Online tea session: 21st Oct (3 months LOL)
Selection Assessment: 4th Nov

Read that some took like 10 months to finally get offer. So I wasn't too surprised with the 3 months tea session wait :/
