more often than not, by the time me came back from leave or MC, rest assured there'll be piles of work for me to clear
every single time

boss dun even bother if there's any one to cover my work in my absence

This is true.. same for me, nobody cover me one.. only daily stuff bo bian, then that one got ppl, but also very reluctant one la, the guy face black until like charcoal..

I rmb got one time I go reservist I even have to come back on weekend to finish some work even.. then still need to feel guilty for taking reservist leave when my work is delayed or behind scheduled due to that.. can see they all not happy but oh well they cannot do anything to mindef, some NS GOLD EMPLOYER some more..

Last time I used to think that don't take mc, leave or late boss will give more bouns or pay increments...
But than boss don't care, as some colleagues can always late, mc or don't come work still get more pay and bonus...
From then on... i simply bo chap liao...

problem with my job is that cause i work in ops, i need to do a very detailed handover if i take MC. and sometimes it takes more energy to do handover so i rather fk it.

I'll take mc if sick and I'll take mc if I feel burnt out and need a rest. But for the latter, I make sure that there's no impt events la.
