i read that one of the post here mentioning ben sherman polo tee quality is not good... is this true? cos i am kinda attracted to their design (especially that little button behind the collar).

my experience with nautica polo tee is that i find that their size is too big... even for S size, my ex bought me one but i rarely wear cos find the size too big. quality wise very good...

If your budget is $150 or so, just get brooks brothers. Or save up abit more for Burberry.

lacoste + Fred perry is good - still in good shape...
I will avoid RL as they do really stretch...

any other brand to intro for slim cut polo?
No need to be branded, as long as it still able to be in good shape after wash...

It really depends on how you wash your polos. I seldom request my maid to spin wash them in the w.machine unless im super lazy. For the one w greater build and quality i normally request to have them soaked awhile /scrub dirt off and then hang it to dry. I'll do them to show her how it is better done!

Burberry Polos - Pretty comfortable if you're in a cooler weather. I find it quite "heavy" and "thick" to wear it in such a humid weather in Singapore. I've washed them a couple of times, I haven't noticed any visible deterioration. Though it might have sized up A LITTLE.

Prada Polos - the 100% cotton ones are AWESOME. thin material and absolutely comfortable. because of its fine material it feels absolutely different from the rest of the other polos that i have. really awesome stuff for a weather like this. they look classy and subtle too. You have to wash them right too... Shouldn't spin them and iron only if absolutely necessarily (they don't crease that badly unless you abuse them)

fred perry - dropped them ever since they became so common. feels a bit "Cheap" in the sense they are overcharging for their quality. However, those MIJ have very nice cutting!! avoid MIC at all costs hahaha.

RL - i.... i think their oxford shirts are better. much better if tailored. the polos have absolutely ridiculous cutting for the asian size, although this may just apply to me cause ive a small frame BUT can be done away with some tailoring too. the quality isn't all that great, and yet it feels thick and hot. I'll be staying away from them for a long time. And yes, like some forummers mentioned, rl does enlarge quite a fair bit, and it will fluff up. URGH.

MBMJ - Feels average.... Nothing fantastic though its from MJ. Comparable to a fred perry polo?

Raf - Same build quality as MBMJ. perhaps slightly better
