Yeah I exaggerated a bit. My dad works in polytechnic and he said got one student with 4.0 gpa rejected by ntu.

My advice is dont take a deg for the sake of deg... next time you sure regret one. I rather you go out work gain exp, then go uni. If you take the course you don't like, sure regret one

You know local unis favour JC students bah. If you come from poly, you have to be one step above JC students (means good gpa and good cca record) while JC students just need good A Level results.

He only has 1 semester to buck up technically. If by next semester still score 3.3, gg liao. That means he score 4.0 for the next 4 semesters he will still get 3.76 only.

Just got my semester result today...Hearing that even people with 3.9 get rejected is very disheartening. I don't even know if I can get into business courses in one of the top 3...No matter what is your GPA they probably let JC kias in first.

Don't want to end up in engineering cos I have absolute zero interest in that.

If your Y1S1 all the modules have very little weightage, confirm still got chance 1.
Subsequent sems all get 3.9 or 4.0, final year cGPA still can be like 3.7++ one.

In poly so many people got gf...Being someone without a gf in poly is like fish out of water. Feel so awkward.

Without a gf I have loads of time to study, go gym train muscle, save alot of money...But feel very embarrassed all the time when people ask me if I have a gf. At night nobody to talk to, nobody to eat with. Its very lonely...
