I tot they say BKT is form Msia, why bring it to SG?

Any recommendation from Klang people working in Singapore where to find the most authentic Klang style BKT?

It has been many years i stopped eating Klang BKT elsewhere whether it is in KL, JB or SG. None could even match close the original taste of Klang BKT. I got disappointed everytime i tried despite good reviews from Google review.

I remember there is a Song Fa there..... and the location so near to the super hot Song Fa outlet at New Bridge Road. Really taking the bull by the horns lol

Malaysia bkt are low quality and bad tasting. Full of fillers like button mushroom, taupok, etc.

Just look at the article. It says it has a pepper version for local taste. He don't sound very confident of his own signature dish.

He is apparently popular because his website is bak kut teh. Com :(

Ever jiak one BKT at Klang, the name is "Mo Sang Kor", quite nice. Braised version, not the soupy type. The zap sibeh tokong.

Yup. I will go for peppery style with a thick cut of fatty pork bone. Damn satifying to eat and chew the tender meat. Better than all the bits and pieces in the MY style bkt. Still dare to add disgusting straw mushroom.

Agreed. most MY style BKT outside Klang do not taste good at all.

But If you have a chance visiting Klang and try their BKT locally, you have to try. Different type of BKT from SG and you will love it.

Actually no need to jiak MY BKT in sg. Wanna eat go insai MY eat.

Klang style easy to make at home since buy the herbal pack jus add to water with dark soya soz, regardless broth is good or not.

Recently YouTube keep spamming Malaysia claiming their bak kut teh as original since they declare it as some heritage cuisine... :ROFLMAO:

Then keep bashing Singapore one as white pepper soup...

They failed to understand it is just different style... Singapore already evolved to using just premium prime ribs, with white pepper and garlic, some chooses higher quality white pepper and garlic for the soup.

While theirs are more like a mix of many ingredients... with chinese herbs.
