Anyone know of online shops that sell Porter International?

Went to their shop yesterday and saw this.

Their price seems overly high. Their Porter International version of HEAT is like 50% more than the ones from Coolcat.

Want to buy the bag, but Porter Tokyo/HP don't seem to have an equivalent of it.

I compared a few bags from tokyo and international and realise some bags are designed differently, but look the same at 1 glance.

For this tote, i believe it's almost identical, so nothing much to compare

yupz, my fren has one...
u noe e base of the bag? its like it becomes rather soft... if u place a book inside, it will juz sag.
he used juz slightly a month more than me...
erm.. dun noe how to share with u guys.. maybe i take some pictures?

the difference is the interior...
the pouches 'config' not e same.

but personally i think both international porter and tokyo porter are good brands...
the not so good thingy about international porter is that their product range is 'smaller'. tokyo porter has a wider range.. (just ordered a tote bag!)

honestly speaking both are really very good bags, durable (like crumpler tough!), and their design is realli cool; dun think it will ever get out of 'fashion'.

it still boils down to the individual who carry e bag... im sure u seem ppl using certain brand and u were thinking... "he's carrying a fake!"
actually as long e design is nice, material is good, it's definitely worth buying...

unless u are a hardcore collector of certain brands! hahahaa

the base is not hard enough to support

P.S thats 1 of many methods to diff a real and fake LV speedy bag, lol (real one WILL sag; soft leather/canvas)

Porter International dispute

Approximately in 1989, the international company (Porter International Company Limited) located in Taiwan Taichung already introduce PORTER into Taiwan. At that time, "Porter international" and "Yoshida Porter" cooperation pattern was importing the Japanese raw material, the material quality, the design, independently made by the Taiwan locality, They were allowed voluntarily to change some designs, therefore equally was "PORTER.TOKYO.JAPAN". As "Yoshida PORTER" only has trademark in Japan and other local registration, in 2001 the Taiwan business agent "Porter International", saw the business opportunity, trademark the whole world "the Porter trademark" and obtains the international trademark rights, the design manufacture and the operating right, and started to take the sale by "Porter International" However the Japanese 原創 parent company "Yoshida Porter" certainly did not acknowledge "PORTER INTERNATIONAL" this brand, causing the market to appear the legitimate Japanese sign "PORTER.TOKYO.JAPAN" and the Taiwan sign "PORTER INTERNATIONAL".

Because the Japanese company has established a resounding Porter=Yoshida brandname, the Taiwan business agent who registered "the Porter trademark" received much criticism, and also caused the common consumer to be unable to distinguish the difference.

In summary,
Porter international is a ** copycat who took advantage by registering the authentic porter brandname all over the world, except japan.

First time disappointed at Taiwanese...
