Does anyone know if we have to bring our arm guards, knee guards, gloves, as well as the extra iLBV parts that we didn't use in BMT? It wasn't stated on the packing list so does it mean that we don't have to bring them?

armour? then you need to bring esp those LBV parts, need to reconfigure, add in the doremon pouch, add hard plate pouch.

the arm/knee guards erm I didn't use them.

oh ya armour rarely dig shellscrape, in times of arty fire, just load up the tank and zhao

Been here for 1 month + Here's what we have been doing.

5.30 Wake up
5.45 5BX
6.00 Breakfast
6.30 Area Cleaning
7.25 First Parade
7.45 Your instructor will come get you (Attendance taking)
8 - 5.30 Lessons all the way in air con room (There will be exams as well almost every week and you MUST pass or get recourse to other army side vocation. Re-test will be allow once only I think and you will get to meet your commander for an interview session)
4 - 6 PT session (Usually its Mon, Wed, Fri)
7 - 10.30/11.30 (Admin time usually, private above lights out timing will be 11.30 if you're stay in)

**Lunch and dinner will usually be at 12pm and 5.30pm

My lessons at AFTC will last till nov 6, which is like around 6.4 weeks (Excluding my block leave and 1 week stay at Sembawang for my POC) After which they will send us to different air base to further our training on the specific train types.

ILBV and Helmet all that kind of things are not required.

Thanks! Maybe I won't bring them this book in because there's not much space left in my duffle bag.

Do we really need them on the first week? I'm just going to act blur and say the list didn't state those items.

oh i see. seems kinda boring heard for the first week there is no stay in for us?

and the lessons are roughly about what? maintence of the aircarriers?

First 2 - 3 weeks learn about airforce core values and all the commands in Airforce.. You might start staying in on the first week.. Fundamentals of aircraft depending whether you are selected for FW or RW course.

Kranji Camp II listed as green zone so should be can.

no confinement, maybe starting they will treat you like recruit, because you are a trainee, but slowly should have privileges like booking out in civi and going to canteen.

inside already got those mono-intake people, they are the "old birds" make friends with them even though most might only have ITE certs.

those hokkien peng also can make friends, encik also scared of them

How does the system work? Are we trained together with the mono-intake people or separately? Do you know how a usual day goes in camp?

edit: you tank driver different, some of the lucky mono-intake people might become tank drivers, but rare cases because the coordination skill must be there.

you will be trained with the mono-intake people, see what weapon you carry

see the schedule, morning PT then go for trade course, drivers must go different camps so might leave early and come back late. come back late shag, go koon.
