At the end, I decided to follow kennyboy's advice which is to dump the Windy Weather Live Wallpaper ...

SGS 2 can do ss w/o rooting

I was thinking should be 480x800 since it's separated by each homescreen.

But just to re-confirm...

To redo all my custom wallpapers due to wrong resolution is just a waste of time ..

If it was still 960x800, then each picture on each screen would have to be cropped, that would be worse.

Tried the Multi Picture Live Wallpaper app on my LG O2X ( laucherpro, 3d app drawer, 5 homescreens )

Noticeable difference (lag) entering app drawer with and without the live wallpaper activated.

Changed to non 3D app drawer also not much help.
