Not really in slowing down the phone.

If the third party launcher is used then the stock launcher just hides behind and doesnt do anything.. Just like an app in the background. You can even close it and it doesnt affect your phone performance at all..

In fact a third part launcher can actually make your phone faster. Launchers like Nova, ADW and GoLauncher are highly responsive too!

So unless you are really used to your stock browser, there's no reason not to switch to a highly customizable third party launcher!

i think u got the concept wrong

SimpleText is this "Simple Text-Text Icon Creator"?

if so , simple text is to create icons

Minimalistic Text is used to display values that varies according to realworld data
(example batt life, temperature, time, date/day etc etc)
and of cuz some static text

both are completely diff to use..

These are my most common apps, so if I didn't recognize them on sight, then I must have Alzheimer's.

If I have to swipe the dock left/right+click again to access more options, then it's one extra step that shouldn't be there. Yes, swipe upwards from dock are already full filled with functions.

Most launcher will allow u to change the dock icons..When u drag and drop a app shortcut to the homescreen, u can actually place them on the dock keys part, if u wana put at other pages, just do go to left or right corner of the dock rows and it will move to the next page.

can seems to be able to use with both of them..

used to work well with go launcher..
