U shld see my friend's. $600 rig (excl CIEM), but can beat desktop rigs.

Bro you are thinking from too high a platform liao. Your player is TOTL before ak120 breached it in terms of price. Many can only dream of the DX but may not be able or willing to fork out 1k for it. And you are using another thousand dollar ciem, not earpods or iems like ba200, dunu trident or even um3x/w4r these kind. To top it up, another more than half a grand worth of cables. Many won't even dare to think about that and continue using stock cable.

Surely there is always a higher mountain, but your ~$3k worth of PORTABLE setup is definitely not just above average in terms of price and sound. Nvm that other pple can rig out a $600 system that beats a desktop in terms of sound. That's another story already.

Nope. Ayon is epic. Esp when I start rolling tubes.
Teresa Teng has never sounded this good.
