Increased soundstage and more dept of bass . Usually paired wif Imod .

the lineout from the ipod connects to the capacitor which is housed in the black box
then from the capacitor to my amp

my ipod is modified, if no capacitor was used, the DC offset from the lineout is 2.5V and it will kill a lot of earphones
