I briefly browse through, doesn't say is irreversible....

is too silly to void the warranty... $699. whats the point? cables don't create miracle, just improve slightly

If you read thoroughly , there's a part that says it's irreversible . Iirc that is .

The good thing is that I have my original IE8 and the one with Cable X so I don't have to be swapping cables ( assuming both IE8 sound the same haha), which if done too frequently can damage the prongs.

oops!
Current "rig": iPod Touch 4 with Fischer Audio Eterna
What would be a compatible portable dac/amp to go along?

Listening on the Eterna can be quite "tiring", not sure why.
(Hence I went for AD700 for home use with my Audinst HUD-MX1)
Looking for a wide soundstage, a "live performance" signature (if there's such a thing)

With all that in mind,
would you guys recommend the madcap diy amp or the FiiO E7?

Contact madcap bro for audit before chiu decide lo.

My fav combo

RWA imod + Whiplash Audio LOD with Blackgate Capacitors + Madcap A47 Penguin Amp (with AD797 opamp) + Westone UM2

the A47 amp with the AD797 opamp combo sounds better than the mustang in terms of separation. Am very surprised. :s31:
