My TWag V2 is a replacement for the V1 that turned green. Craig replaced it FOC for me.

I'll upload my photos again tml morning.

Why did you choose to do it with Jaben? They are not an authorised dealer for Westone customs in Singapore. Only Thinking Group are authorised to represent Westone locally.

I never knew it till a week after I have done my impressions with them.

ah I still prefer the clarity on ES2.is there a way to improve that on ES5? how many hours of burning in does it need?

Pity.

Personally feel that the TWag V2 staging is decent, imaging is great and details and clarity are fantastic. My 2 cents.

They say balanced amartures do not require burn in, but I still think that burn in is necessary for the cross over frequencies. Sound should settle down after 50 hours I guess.

You might be pleased to know I have re-uploaded the pics of my rig on my original post on page 27.

and i hope this eclipse cable undrapes it.

i just left the music playing with my ES5 on my iPhone 4 while i was watching movies.does it make any difference between different players for the burn-in processs?

U can meet up to try my V2 first. Suitable then buy. Dun have to waste $$$. I'll let u buy me a kopi. LOL.

Shld be ok leaving it on to play music. Dun think the player makes a diff though. Just let music passing tru the crossovers and drivers.

Yeah, the trio r quite cool. Best thing is I can clearly hear differences between the 3. So just select the LOD according to the day's mood.

much i would want to try your V2 but my roster restricts me.
i'm on night shift and have to work during weekends & NDP too.

i remembered i ever burn-in my sensaphonics 2XS for hours before the drivers went burst. absolutely gone case. so what is the recommended burn-in hours?

about LOD, i am thinking whether to get an amp as hifiman does not need to be amp-ed right?
i just want the clarity on the ES5 to be better.

I actually didn't intentionally burn. I just burn as I listen. Must have gotten 400 to 500 hours by now. Love how it's sounding now. Got details and clarity.

can you kindly explain to me what are the diff between a oyaide plug and a right angle plug?

I just got my replacement TWag V2 last week. I meant 400 hours on my ES5.

Oyaide plug refers to the jack being rhodium material.
Right angle plug refer to 90 degrees plug, could be gold plated.

Rhodium is less prone to oxidation compared to gold plated. On theory that's supposed to be better. But not cheap. It's about $25 per plug.

Oyaide comes in both straight and right angle plugs. The plug itself is available from Audio Basic.

I remembered I did when I ordered my ES2 with Jaben 5 years ago but never this time.

ES2? Also by westone? Dual driver customs beating five drivers customs?

Owned 602 once. Found it too warm and treble roll off was rather disturbing.

same problem with 601, treble roll off so obvious that even the iphone does better.
