just started in this portable hifi thingy. placed an order for JDSLabs cMoyBB v2.03 on 10 Feb 2012. Finally got my amp today (17 Feb 2012). Mebbe i'm just lucky but i'm very impressed with the turnaround time. Package came with the 9V battery already inside. The amp was packed in air-tight anti-static bag. When the bag was opened, it still had the peppermint smell all over the tin. Talk about fresh from the oven! Overall, very pleased with the sound. The music is much cleaner and i don't really have to blast the volume to pick out the details.

I usually carry a small sling bag around if I'm on the DIYmod rig.

Otherwise, it's just Hisound Audio Studio-V with my UM Miracle for FLAC playback.

No idea. The DIY-er said that was sufficient, and I trust him explicitly as he is my long-time cabling mate.

And the sound proved his point. It sounded just AMAZING.
