Just avoid and say you don't want to risk getting sick.
Many people say Covid is like flu. While this may be true for the current variant, getting flu like symptoms is still not fun.
From the sore throat to running nose, fever, potential cough for weeks. All for what? A 2 hour gathering?

It's one thing to get on with life after Covid, but a totally selfish act to know they are sick and still go for a gathering and risk their loved ones all falling sick.

if something happens, you will siam.

both scenarios , you wont offend anyone.

but dont tell anyone you know his family got covid. if not, something happens, u will be blamed for not telling everyone.
