look at the countries following US (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand) vs those follow CCP (Myanmar, Cambodia, Pakistan, Iran, NK) and you know which is the side of winners.

unless your country is big like India then you don't have to choose sides.
Sg choose both right?

I think it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, so coincidentally as ASEAN chair, that you get to mediate Thai Cam war and get into the good books of Trump and U.S.

Trump is a shrewd businessman

Based on the term where Anwar sign with Trump, it seem to benefit US more and Malaysia has to abide according to the clause

Nah we didn’t … just that both sides think that we’re in the pocket anyway so don’t bother with us. You notice that it’s when $#!t hits between them that they start coming here … at any other times it’s always the whites thinking there is a need to reaffirm ties when they don’t think there is a need to speak with us.

if can commit by XX years also who cares the political mileage for both sides is more important

in a few years time both also probably not hear of state the new guys will just
wayang and try sign another deal
