You may want to try to call their customer service, 1800-356-556. Not much people technical enough to answer your question.

Hi ninja99,

I'm considering to buy CM205fw. Is the hassle on wireless set up only on scanning ? What about wireless printing ? Beside the hassle on setting up wireless scanning, do you face other issues ? :)

M175nw Printing speed 4ppm only for colour* Please take note

For Colour, I would recommend you Fuji Xerox CM205f ( AIO with network ) or CM205fw ( AIO with wireless ).

It is manual duplex.

For the mono printer, I would recommend you brother HL-2240D. It is auto duplex.

Both got A5 as an option as for cheque size, you could customise it if they dont have the option.

Hi,
A friend of mine used to struggle in setting up the wireless function. Would like to know if you have any issues setting up the wireless function for your CM205fw as I intend to buy the same model. Thanks.

I'm using same model, wireless setup is easy, using printer's control panel, no need to connect to pc. Navigate to network setup, enter the "ssid", choose wep/wpa2/etc, enter "password" & printer will connect to wireless network. Just place printer near to router during initial setup, to get proper signal strength for connection.

Yup it was relatively simple. The printer will restart automatically and you can subsequently see the wireless icon appear at the top right hand corner. Of course you will also need to run the installation software on your designated PC/Laptop.

Have yet to try the "scan to PC" function though. Wonder how it will work if there are multiple PCs - will there be a selection of IP addresses?

Hello, need advice for a new laser printer.

I would prefer:
1) Duplex
2) Mono Color
3) If possible, scanning

and of course, a budget of less than 200 :)

I have saw Brother HL-2270DW is this model good? Or is this brand good? Thanks in advance :)

You could look for Brother DCP-7060D.
PRINT SCAN COPY (Usb connection)

For HL-2270dw, it does not have scanning but it has wireless. Both less than $200 so it depends if you need scanning or wireless more.

These series of mono duplex printers from brother are very popular.
