Have went to check out the lock today at their show room.

To be honest abit underwhelmed by the lock, maybe it is still new and still ironing out the kinks

But one thing that I noticed was that the door lock does not have a latch to detect when the door is closed.

When the salesman was demoing the unit, when the door was left open I noticed that the bolts from the lock will extend after a few seconds and make a beeping sound that the door is not closed properly.

This one is not mentioned anywhere in the listing and would not be something that I have known about unless I had went down to view the lock.

Will hold out on my purchase for now until this is resolved

Just got the Sentry Pro gatelock to replace my current set (current set is draining battery, every 30 days 4 x AA batt)......not very happy with my purchase....2 things that PRISM+ did not share.

1) There is a $50 charge for wooden block......totally no mention anywhere in their website, IMHO, this is part of installation and even if they treat it as "optional", they should be transparent and indicate on thier website before customer placing order. Just to share, my pervious purchase did not charge the wooden block....

2) Free wifi gateway but "NOT WORKING"!!! According to the installation guy, Prism+ is working with the OEM supplier to reslove this problem but meanwhile, its not working. AND DO TAKE NOTE it only work with 2.4 Ghz wifi!

Wonder if the salesman in store share the above info!

Remotely locking or unlocking is a key feature required for a smart lock.

Suggest people use the common brands that are already established like aqara
Aqara is damm reliable, I use their switches throughout my house and link with Homekit.

i have no confident in getting a home security when its some more a digital lock thats the front line of my home security from a brand thats OEM from china and in very new player in the market. Don't even know if they have after sales service to support.
I would more prefer to get a reputable brand thats in the market for years and have experience and expertise in the after sales. They will not be hit and run, cause now there are so many new brand in the market, most reliable are those older player, which is a bit more costly but its more secure.

I bought the door lock. It sucks. When you unlock the door and swing the door open, it locks itself before you even close the door, causing the locking bolts to extend out and preventing the door from closing. Have to press unlock again to retract the bolts before I'm able to close the door. Extremely irritating.

The WiFi gateway cannot connect to Asus BT10 (standard m1 router) WiFi 7 router. The doorbell has a crappy range and can't connect to the router too. Waste alot of time trying to set it up but it does not work.

Do not buy!
