Got try with new digital optical cable? You only have one digital optical cable at home?
Sometimes got red light doesn’t mean the old cable is not broken somewhere.
Actually tizen os is not android tvIf you have gotten the Q43 for $599, could have gotten the Samsung 43AU7000 instead for the same price. It's a better value buy than the Q43 IMO.
Uhm I didn't mention the OS in my post that you quoted, but good point to take note for those considering Samsung TV.Actually tizen os is not android tv
Actually for those who just want a simple OS, it's pretty easy to use.Actually tizen os is not android tv

Don't know for sure if customer is using correct hdmi cable or has enabled enhanced mode to get 4k and HDR on the TV.Was looking for replacement tv for my home so wanted to give this brand a chance but heard tons of feedback that neg review being delete on fb hence i did my own research. I was shock that their quantum dot tv is not true 4k as this user reported it is upscale 1080 to 4k and also find out that they force buyer to review them on the spot after installation which really shows how honest this company is.![]()

Sounds like a software issue. It doesn't make much sense for lcd manufacturers to have a commercial TV production line for 65" 1080p panels today.the guy wrote that the netflix also detect 1080 instead of 4k hdr. native netflix app from their tv.. hmmmm....
If I'm not wrong and Prism+ is still selling Skyworth OEM Tvs, I believe there's a HDMI setting to choose 1.4 or 2.0 option. Not sure if it makes a difference.Sounds like a software issue. Was there any followup to that guy's issue?
I still having 2nd tot. Will be looking at LG first as their TVs support viu. Only qualms is the non android os.If only VIU makes it easier for viewers. I have been considering buying TCL and iFFALCON TVs and then sideload whatever I need or buy an Apple TV 4K box. In the end, I think screw it, just consider PRISM+. Right now, cannot decide 55" or 65"

That requires a 85" TV for good 4k viewing... 65" will look tiny..I still having 2nd tot. Will be looking at LG first as their TVs support viu. Only qualms is the non android os.
If u sit 2 meters or within, i think 55 is enough. If 3 metres or more, 65 should be more shiok. Online got alot of guide tools to determine distance / size. Pls update here after u bought.
