Some TVs have the option to turn off the TV speakers before it can output externally via spdif.

Thank you for everyone’s help here… finally I have resolved the problem by getting my sound bar Bluetooth connected to the TV.

but I must give compliment to the support staff at Prism+, they are going extra miles to help me over this problem and I really can trust them now to buy more product from them.

Got try with new digital optical cable? You only have one digital optical cable at home?

Sometimes got red light doesn’t mean the old cable is not broken somewhere.

is ok since Bluetooth now can work I will forget the optical cable. I know the optical cable is very fragile and it could have been damage

Was looking for replacement tv for my home so wanted to give this brand a chance but heard tons of feedback that neg review being delete on fb hence i did my own research. I was shock that their quantum dot tv is not true 4k as this user reported it is upscale 1080 to 4k and also find out that they force buyer to review them on the spot after installation which really shows how honest this company is. :(

Don't know for sure if customer is using correct hdmi cable or has enabled enhanced mode to get 4k and HDR on the TV.

Trust 3rd party review sites or platforms, don't solely trust reviews on prism and hisense sg website. Hisense is worse, delivery guy takes photo after setup and put 5 star reviews themselves using your name.

Sounds like a software issue. It doesn't make much sense for lcd manufacturers to have a commercial TV production line for 65" 1080p panels today.

Was there any followup to that guy's issue?

If I'm not wrong and Prism+ is still selling Skyworth OEM Tvs, I believe there's a HDMI setting to choose 1.4 or 2.0 option. Not sure if it makes a difference.

I bought xiaomi p1, then suddenly my sideloaded viu becomes unwatchable already. Instead of so much hassle, I wish to get prism+. Hopefully won't regret.

If only VIU makes it easier for viewers. I have been considering buying TCL and iFFALCON TVs and then sideload whatever I need or buy an Apple TV 4K box. In the end, I think screw it, just consider PRISM+. Right now, cannot decide 55" or 65"

I still having 2nd tot. Will be looking at LG first as their TVs support viu. Only qualms is the non android os.

If u sit 2 meters or within, i think 55 is enough. If 3 metres or more, 65 should be more shiok. Online got alot of guide tools to determine distance / size. Pls update here after u bought.

That requires a 85" TV for good 4k viewing... 65" will look tiny..
