Wonder the upgrade path is like for those that bought the android tv. Understand that as long as u on version 9 and above, the google tv is will be available

It still depends on the manufacturer to implement it in their software update schedule, like how Android phones still do not have the latest updates like Google Pixels

I am using the 65AL .. but like I mentioned in the LG thread. The LG C1 65inch clearing at best Denki was 1,999 with freebies. So while it is older, it may be a better buy . But there are android n google tv fans who says the OS is one reason to avoid LG ..
So is it any good. Yup .. suit my needs and price point as it’s under 1800 dollars for my purchase… but it’s a LG A1 equivalent.
Colour and picture quality is good as well.. but if you watch up closed on movie’s with closed up shots of actors who wear woven suits. Can see the motion blurred of the texture. Other than that, which could be a feed from Netflix or viu that is causing it. It’s quite good .

I have problems turning my Prism 55AL OLED TV on. Similar set of problems ould not turn on TV with remote or the button at the back of the TV, there's a red indicator. Could not turn on TV with remote or button, but there's green indicator. I already had my TV replaced and stil have the same problem unable to power on. Anyone got the tech support to resolve this??

I am now given the option of replacing it with a Prism Q55 OLED Ultra TV again. Keep fingers crossed hope this will not happen again with the latest new TV as well.... Unable to Turn on TV using remote or back switch.

Anyone got these problems or have it resolved??

2 things.. one the sensor is on the left side of the front facing TV..
If I am not wrong, its a bluetooth remote.. see if its a distance thing

Isn,t there a subtitle button right above the red R button in the remote controller pic above? U can go to CNA channel and toggle the english subtitles off or choose english in subtitles to see the subtitle effect on yr TV. Other languages dun work and depend on yr channels FYI

I asked. The answer is ’may not have the capability to upgrade’ and ‘that’s why Android TV and Google TV models are sold separately’. I think is B.S. But like what @M_16 said, depends on manufacturer. Maybe if enough PRISM+ Android TV owners make noise, they may change their mind.

I think PRISM+ also need to depend on their TV supplier to provide the update.

Very hard to be so lucky 2 TV with same problem. Prism+ actually change another TV or repair? Or give you back the original set? (Check TV serial number).
Have you try a different power point?

It was a 1 to 1 exchange....Anyway the tech support have replace my TV with the latest google Tv

PRISM+ Q55 Ultra​

and refunded teh difference. It seems like working properly now with no issues so far.
