Bought my 75" in November 2021. Was working fine up till today. For no rhyme or reason the screen suddenly appeared to have a crack. 100% no physical touch to the TV. The crack seemed to form internally. Been in conversation with PRISM customer support who are absolutely certain I caused it physically. All I want is for them to prove their theory by examining the "damage". If they can prove it is caused externally I will not even bother writing to them or fighting my case but I am 100% this is an internal crack and there is no was for us to cause it from the outside. As of now looks like my 1.6k is going to be burnt with no solution offered by prism. This will be the last time I will get a prism product without any doubt.

Been using Prism+ E55 TV for the past 3 years and the screen suddenly stopped functioning a couple of months after the warranty ended. Have checked all the connections and couldn’t troubleshoot the error. Anyone encountered the same issue?

Saw this thread and had to jump in as a tech geek...My advise....Don't buy a PRISM TV...PERIOD. Why?

1. All PRISM TV's sold still use ARC connection in 2023...IYKYK. It's a damn OLD, very finnicky standard with risks for bad HDMI handshakes. And that causes problems like soundbars not receiving sound from the TV, or worse, loud static pop noises if the handshake goes really cray. I know a few that couldn't connect their Bose 900 to the prism TV.

When buying a new TV in this day and age...eARC is a must. Newer, more robust, and more importantly, eARC allows for LOSSLESS connection. Connect your XBOX X/PS5 and enjoy shiok full quality sound...not some compressed crap because your sound passthrough from TV to soundbar is limited to ARC (from the PRISM TV).

Just because a TV can play Dolby Atmos doesn't mean it outputs best quality sound...you want maximum quality, eARC connection is the only way to go. Don't be fooled! Most notably, LPCM (from the PS5) also needs eARC to passthrough from TV to soundbar....Important because not all flagship soundbars have HDMI connections for devices to connect directly to them (Sonos ARC/Beam also don't have such ports).

2. Slow built in TV apps/functions...because they cut cost on the APU to meet cheap price target. Saw my friend with a 65+ or bigger mid-high tier PRISM tv bought this year or last year...We were trying to do screen mirroring. The TV load speed was so slow, I immediately commented about it. They said it was slow enough to be frustrating to use. I would agree. Yet its hard to get rid of a TV if you just bought it because even if you could sell it, you got to figure out how to ship it safely...

Unfortunately, you really always get what you pay for...Happy LG B2 user here but if I needed to find a cheaper TV, my advise would be to go for a LG QNED or something. Or Samsung, or Sony. Stick with the big 3 and you never will look back....

Every time I see a PRISM TV ad with some influencer models come up...I shake my head because I know some non-tech person is going to plonk money into what I think is a bad TV/soundbar/aircon brand that shouldn't be dabbling into so many fields so quickly. Smells like 90+% OEM rebadge/customized products....

Why would someone who use buy a Bose speaker buy prism? Is like matching your 500k car with a $2 brake pad from shoppee. Btw I fully agree with you and try to emphasis that you only buy prism if you want it cheap but if you want it cheap would not tcl, Hisense or some Korean oem be a better choice?

Haha an 86 inch Prism costs a pretty penny...$3000+ I believe? You'll be surprised what remarketing efforts from their facebook/instagram ads can do to inculcate thoughts that it is a good brand.

Not opposed to TCL and Hisense since most have eARC, the last time I researched (on the Hisense U8 at that time before I decided on a LG B2). Defintely miles better than prism+. Saw their TVs the last show in June...loved the color vibrance and booth setup. Then again...my personal preference would still be something from LG

Exactly my point man, if you are dumping a 3k on a tv. Instead of going all size, reduce a little and get a lg c3. It is honestly the best bang of the buck. Sure you have more money you can go for mini or micro led but at the current point oled is way superior dollar for dollar. Prism probably source from one of the big tv builder in China so instead of paying the influencer tax why not just buy from China and get a better tv. Unless you are trying to support the influencer economy then sure go ahead.
actually only fans might be a more direct way.

btw supporting prism is not supporting local, unlike razor or creative they do not design or build their product in Singapore. Not saying I am terribly impress with their product either just that at least they feel more like supporting local while prism is support local influencer only.

Anyone using the Prism+ Q55 Ultra with Starhub TV+ set top box? Are you able to switch channels using the TV remote control?

You can't.
I'm using a StarHub box and I use my Sony TV remote to just get to the guide page and navigate up/down. You can't punch in the numbers from the remote as that's for your TV channel surfing - not for StarHub box that's using one of the TV inputs.

So if you do want to jump to your channel at will, use the StarHub remote.

Sorry, missed seeing this reply.
Do you still need help? I can get Prism+ to assist.
