Strongly doubt this is true cause what Army CPL trained are not relevant to Navy CPT vocation (unless you are talking about Medical Officer & etc).

I suspect this Army CPL is a NSman & he sign on to attend the course to commission as a Navy CPT.

yes, just nice yst i was having lunch and i overhead a major saying he was conducting course at SAFTI for NSmen to be navy officer.

He mention that those NSmen were army cpl in the past.

Now become navy CPT liao.

NSmen.

1) During ICT/RT, what rank is the allowance SAF give you? LCP or CPL?

2) NS.sg rank is key in by your Unit. It will auto reflex & lock the rank shown in SAF100. Eg: My rank is LCP but unit key in 3SG for me, my 3SG rank will auto reflex in ns.sg. On 1 Aug 2013, I get a SAF100 with 3SG rank. On 2 Aug 2013, unit discover their mistake & change back to LCP. However your SAF100 have lock the 3SG rank for you unless your unit do an amendment in your SAF100.

3) Ask your unit for promotion letter or ask MP to help you ask for one.

i have recently finished my reservist. I got a rank 'promotion' from LCP to CPL out of nowhere. whatever form i signed to draw stuffs, and nominal roll and even ns.sg also reflected on CPL rank. But there's no official letter sent to me? Can like that one meh?
