Rental values got up so much this year? I think no up , maybe even slightly down... based on ads I see online.
Property tax bill:
2025 $182.40.
Amount payable from now $243.68 ( Dec 2025 plus whole year 2026)

So cheap. Other ppl is 15x more

One should be very happy when property tax goes up. It means that your house valuation has increased. It suggests that you can fetch a high value when you sell your house.

You also don't own the Windows OS and all the Games software or office softwares you used, play and enjoy. You paid for your Windows and all the games and office software because you are granted the license to use only, same with hdb.

Microsoft even mandate that, if your CPU or motherboard is spoilt and you change any of them, your license will be revoked and you have to buy another Windows license. Hdb didn't say if the fans or Aircon in your house spoilt, your lease will be terminated and you have to buy a new one. In fact, you can even sell your remaining lease at huge profits. That's the idea of property tax based on your annual valuation.

Why you didn't challenge Microsoft or EA or Ubisoft when it's limited use and you go and challenge HDB when they granted you a free, complete, total use of fixed 99 years tenure?
