I saw an octagon shape diamond and thought it has quite a special shape. Sparkles very nicely too. Have any of you bros seen it too? Don't see ppl posting the scope of this diamond.

Hi does anyone know where can I get black diamonds and also provide customization for a proposal ring?

Wow this is really interesting! Is this really available at Jann Paul? Seems like a rare find that would make a special proposal ring. Any idea if it's available in a 1 carat?

Got some facts about the octagon diamond from Jann - It's a 88 facets, 8 hearts and arrows. Performance is inbetween a Super ideal and a Solasfera.

Peeps, need some comment/feedback on this diamond that I am eyeing. Everything looks ok but is the apparent light leakage (white area in the asset scope image) acceptable? Anything else you might have spotted? Thanks!

I think some light leakage is normal for the Super Ideals and Brellia. If you don't want any, get the Solasfera...

My Brellia photos look the same. Almost identical. The hearts and arrows are very symmetrical. If I'm not wrong, the light leakage are minimum to make the pattern in the diamond. But too much light leakage is a bad thing. Yours is acceptable. Whats the specs? :)

Ok relieved to hear that. Yes I saw the solasfera too and was impressed with the light return n almost non-leakage. But think SO seems to prefer Brellia cos Solasfera facets r smaller so the effects different.

But under normal day-to-day lighting condition, how's the performance of Brellia v Solasfera?

Btw the one I'm eyeing is .67 D VVS.

Slightly particular about specs since it's a proposal ring, so it's something we'll keep :)

We compared it in the shop only but not under normal day light. My SO preferred the cushion shape.. something more different. Though Solasfera has more sparkle effects, the Brellia had bigger sparkles. I guess it's to individual's taste.

Wah.. your is a nice size and high specs.. Mine was 0.45ct only :o

Nice. They got videos of the diamonds under day-to-day condition on their YouTube. Just need to search it.
