From my understanding, the polish/symmetry for the brilliant rose usually very good/very good or good/good.. its seldom excellent/excellent.

To sum things up, the
brilliant rose - 66 facets, no hearts and arrows
destinee royale - 81 facets, 10 hearts and arrows
solasfera - 91 facets, 10 hearts and arrows

It's a pity that the brilliant rose and destinee royale don't have the Ideal and ASET scope to compare the light performance... cos sometimes the shops put the diamond under the strong spotlight, which can be quite biased..

compared with the solasfera
which scores the highest for all three points

You can see the performance of the solasfera compared to other diamonds here.. but one thing about hearts and arrows diamonds is you can see the arrows burning in the diamond.. for the modified rounds with no hearts and arrows, i find their sparkles to be smaller and abit messier..

Don't forget, when a diamond hits 0.7ct, it take a price premium too...

Yeah!! F color to E color it is quite hard to tell the difference, but 0.73 to 0.78 you can instantly see the size difference any time any lighting!

Plus, cheaper some more! (unless there are other factors that's causing it to be cheaper)

Also, its often rare to find the high numbers (e.g. 0.78, 0.79, 0.69, 0.38, 0.99), so, grab it! Haha, if she's born in 1978, lagi better!

Haha... Interesting! Yeah, and Soo Kee sells the Brilliant Rose at about 190 - 210 % rap!!! (as of 2010, not sure if that changed, but probably unlikely) Like Tiffany, we're paying for the brand name and marketing.

Too bad I didn't know in-depth about diamonds previously, otherwise I would have asked 2 of my friends who get their Brilliant Roses to get a much better diamond as much lower prices...

depend on where you purchase? purchase online or purchase in store.
if purchase online maybe about $2k (you can check out from bluenile, jamesallen and etc), if you talking in store i think will cost about $3-4k.

above really depend on your cutting.

JP only carry G color and above. F is 1 grade higher than G.

Hmm... not so sure about AMEX. Should have bah...

If you have citibank or UOB, can get 0% installment.

Too bad i don't have, so cannot pay installment and have to pay full.

Anyway... you can call or message them from FB for more information about the payment.

I think it should be ok... if the card has VISA or MASTERCARD, technically it can be accepted anywhere... why don't you use the Manhatten card?? Got 5% cash rebate leh..
